Improvisation (Grades 7-12)

Improvisation is a skill valuable to both writers and actors, and is an art form in itself. This class will focus on improvisation in comedy, as well as its use as a tool for performers to improve their spontaneity and for writers to create more realistic and vibrant characters. Final workshops will include improvisational exercises, comic improvisations, and acting improvisations on situations in both new and classic plays.
This class will meet on Saturdays from 10 AM – 12 PM.
