“What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith, but does not have works?”

In this Bible passage, James speaks about two different types of faith – genuine faith and empty faith. What is the difference? If a person has authentic faith, he or she will naturally practice good works. Empty faith, on the other hand, equates to no faith at all. Faith and works need to go hand in hand. Practicing good work demonstrates a true and authentic faith.
